The Dutch equestrian federation and team trainer Wim Ernes have announced the team that will represent The Netherlands at the 2015 European Dressage Championships in Aachen, Germany, on 12 - 16 August 2015.

For the first time in six years the Dutch team does not include former team anchor Adelinde Cornelissen on Parzival. The duo has been unable to prove sufficient fitness this 2015 show season and only competed at one observation trial, the CDIO Rotterdam, where they withdrew from the freestyle.

The second absentee is Danielle Heijkoop and Siro, who were members of the Dutch team in 2013. Siro made his come back after injury at the 2015 Dutch Championships last weekend, but was withdrawn as well from the freestyle as he was not fit enough.

Wim Ernes selected the riders which showed the most consistency this 2015 show season.

The Dutch team includes:

  • Edward Gal - Undercover .
  • Hans Peter Minderhoud - Johnson
  • Diederik van Silfhout - Arlando
  • Patrick van der Meer - Uzzo

No reserve rider was announced
