Jenny Lang from Karlsruhe repeated on Saturday evening what a German dressage trio had already shown in the CDIO Grand Prix Special earlier in the day on Saturday 11 July 2015 at the 2015 CDIO Hagen. It is the weekend of personal highscores. With a final score of 79.42%, she won the CDI4* Grand Prix-freestyle, presented by Nordpack GmbH, followed by the 20-year-old Sanneke Rothenberger and riding master Ingrid Klimke with Dresden Mann.

It was an exception that the 15-year-old Loverboy (by Lorentin I x Alcatraz) was that relaxed when entering the dressage stadium at the Hof Kasselmann.

“Monica Theodorescu recommended to change the bit to get him better under control. Which worked pretty well, and I am very grateful for this advice. It was a pleasure to ride Loverboy, and it is even double pleasure against this gorgeous backdrop,” Lang explained.

She has been riding her Pink Panther-freestyle since she started to compete at the Grand Prix-level.

“This freestyle perfectly matches him and is difficult enough for international competitions. It is simply fantastic that we almost achieved 80%,“ the busy dressage rider explained. She spends half of her day in the stable and the rest working in the family-owned car dealership enterprise.

Sanneke Rothenberger rode the 14-year-old De Niro-son Deveraux OLD and finished in second place with 79.32%.

Rothenberger had also won the Under 25 Short Grand Prix the same day aboard her Wolkenstein II-daughter Wolke Sieben. The 20-year-old Master-student was prepared to take risks and was rewarded with victory, after winning the Intermediaire II on Friday evening. The Spanish rider Juan Matute Guimon finished second with Don Diego, followed by Juliette Piotrowski from Kaarst who accomplishes her first Grand Prix-season this year with her Sandro Hit-offspring Sir Diamond.
