Spanish Carmen Naesgaard's A-team dressage horse Ricardo has been sold to the German based French Grand Prix rider Karen Tebar. Ricardo is a 12-year old Hanoverian stallion by Rosentau out of Ravanneh (by Ragazzo x Donnerhall).

Naesgaard made her show debut on Ricardo at the 2009 Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera when the horse was a 6-year old. Two years later they made their small tour debut in Vejer in 2011. Ricardo was briefly shown by Carmen's trainer Isidro Maldonado, but Carmen made the transition to Grand Prix with him in 2013.

This year Naesgaard and Ricardo won the 2015 Spanish Dressage Championships in Madrid and were in the running for Spanish team selection for the 2015 European Dressage Championships.

Karen Tebar is trained by Jan Nivelle and is currently internationally successful at Grand Prix level with Don Luis.
