2015 CDI Fritzens

Forty-nine dressage riders from fifteen nations will be competing sixty-nine horses at the 21st Manfred Swarovski Memorial Dressage Competition at Evelyn and Klaus Haim-Swarovski's gorgeous Schindlhof equestrian centre in the Austrian Alps in Fritzens on 26 to 28 June 2015.

“We are still overwhelmed by the great number of start inquiries from around the world. We had so many, so unfortunately we were far from able to consider all of them,“ said hosts Evelyn Haim-Swarovski and Klaus Haim about the popular international show with family character.

Olympic champion Carl Hester, who will be entering the arena of Schindlhof for his third time this year, is eager to return to the Schindlhof show grounds. “At Schindlhof I participated with Uthopia (his Olympic team gold horse in London 2012). And here, Charlotte (Dujardin, his student, who won two individual gold medals with Valegro at the 2014 World Equestrian Games) celebrated her first big success. In the Special at Schindlhof in 2011 Uthopia received 80% for the first time. I remember very well how dizzy I felt when I saw the scoreboard. These memories are so wonderful and will accompany me for the rest of my life.“

Hester is highly appreciative of the wonderful show atmosphere that is created each year at Schindlhof.

“I really like Evelyn and Klaus. The footing and the conditions here at Schindlhof are excellent and for me it always feels a bit like a holiday. I want to focus more on enjoying the competition and the riding and on selecting shows that don’t cause too much stress. Evelyn and Klaus are wonderful hosts. Nowadays it is very hard to find a show that has a family atmosphere — but this is exactly what Fritzens offers.“
