Three world class dressage horses that have been sold by Performance Sales International (P.S.I.) and Hof Kasselmann, produced stand-out performances at the 2015 CDI 3*/5* competition in Munich, Germany, on 15 - 17 May 2015. Steffen Peters' Legolas, Briana Burgess' La Scala and Dorothee Schneider's Ullrich Equine's St. Emilion moved themselves into the spotlight in Munich.
The CDI5* World Dressage Masters series halted in Munich last weekend and many P.S.I. dressage horses were there to show their qualities in the dressage arena. Leading the charge was U.S. team anchor rider Steffen Peters with the exceptional Westfalian gelding Legolas (by Laomedon x Florestan II), which Steffen's sponsor Akiko Yamazaki acquired at Hof Kasselmann in December 2011. Steffen and Legolas finished third in the Grand Prix (73.63%) and second in the Grand Prix Freestyle with a whopping 80.35%.
Australian WEG team short listed dressage rider Briana Burgess has started her 2015 international show campaign on the P.S.I. Auction horse La Scala (by Lancer II x Rembrandt) in March in Vidauban, France, followed by outstanding results at Hof Kasselmann's CDI Hagen Horses & Dreams in April. Burgess continued her string of success on the Rhinelander gelding in Munich with a fourth place in the Grand Prix Special, posting a score of 69.549%.
Another upcoming star destined for future continental championships was the winner of the CDI3* tour in Munich: Ullrich Equine's St. Emilion (by Sandro Hit x Ehrenwort) and Dorothee Schneider were the winning team. The couple celebrated two impressive victories in the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special with 73.840% and 73.824%.
St. Emilion stands for everything the PS.I. Auction aims to represent: spotting world class talented horses at an early age and selling them to the right owner who can bring the horse to its full potential, including the international Grand Prix arena. P.S.I. acquired St. Emilion as a foal, got him licensed as a breeding stallion and sold the horse to Jürgen M. and Christina Ullrich at the 2008 P.S.I. Auction. Dorothee Schneider is his long-term rider to make him a Grand Prix star..
