Dr. André Hahn has been appointed the new breeding director of the German Oldenburg society. He will take up his post on 1 July 2015 and is replacing Katrin Burger who resigned in February 2015.
Hahn is a familiar face at the Oldenburg headquarters in Vechta. He has already worked for the breed society from 2008 till 2013, but then left the job to do the same one for the Trakehner society, which is based in Neumunster.
"I'm looking forward to my new job at the Oldenburg Verband and hope to re-establish the good cooperation with the breeders and colleagues I used to have in the years before," Hahn stated.
Hahn is based in Wesermarsch where he lives with his show jumping wife Janne Sosath-Hahn (daughter of Oldenburg breeder and stallion owner Gerd Sosath) and their seven month old son Emil.
