On Wednesday 8 April 2015 dressage stallion owners were able to enter their 4-year old approved but not yet tested stallion as late entries for the 2015 KWPN Spring Stallion Performance Testing in Ermelo, The Netherlands.

Five dressage stallions were scheduled for an under saddle, in hand and veterinary assessment so that the KWPN Licensing Committee could decide if they were fit for the spring testing. These 4-year olds were approved at the 2014 KWPN Stallion Licensing but have not yet completed any performance test.

Of the five registered stallions two have begun the testing: Grappa (by Fidertanz x Special D) and Glow (by Bordeaux x Montecristo).

The 2011 born Goliath (by Johnson x Ulft) and Geronimo d'Hertog (by Rhodium x Gribaldi) both had veterinary issues and will be re-inspected next week. Glamour Boy (by Bojengel x Jazz) was rejected from the testing.

The 3-year old colts, which began the 50-day spring testing on 17 March 2015, had a "mid-term" exam on 8 April. Last week already four  dropped out and one further stallion was sent home today: Hero (by Apache x Metall). He can try again at the 2015 Autumn testing.
