The equestrian federation of Australia (EA) has announced that Jacqui Van Montfrans has resigned as Australian national dressage selector. Jacqui has decided to focus on her current business and family commitments.

According to EA, Jacqui has made a significant contribution to Australian dressage in the role of selector, a position which she has held since being appointed in 2013. It included selecting the team for the 2014 World Equestrian Games.

Australia had only two national dressage selectors: Jacqui Van Montfrans and Jan Smith.

EA's high performance squad structure and selection process will be announced by EA shortly.
