Ruling 2014 European Pony Champion Semmieke Rothenberger left no doubt about it that she and her number one pony, the 16-year old German Riding Pony Deinhard B, are still in the number one hot seat this 2015 show season. At the CDI debut competition of the year at the 2015 CDIO Vidauban in France, Rothenberger won all three pony classes with high seventy percentage scores.

The 15-year old Semmieke and Deinhard B (by Dornick B x Golden Dancer) won the team test with 78.419%, the individual test with 79.959 and the kur to music with 81.875% with no opposition. The rider who actually came closes to her scores was Liselott Marie Linsenhoff on Semmieke's former pony, the 13-year old Golden Girl (by Don't Worry x Dancer). Linsenhoff scored 74.060% in the team test and 74.634% in the individual. In the kur to Music Dutch Eveline Bos and the German bred Valentino (by Dornik Double x Power Star B) were the runners-up with 76.917%.

"Deinhard already felt really good in training at home," Semmieke told Eurodressage. "I was able to translate that well into the test. I don't think I ever had such a good feeling as in the individual test."
