Trakehner Stallion Perechlest Passed Away

The 1989 born Russian bred Trakehner licensed stallion Perechlest has passed away at age 26. The bay stallion competed up to Grand Prix level under Ulla Salzgeber.

Perechelest was bred by Wladimir Tscherkesov in Rostov, Russia and reared at Gestut Kiröw. He was sired by the renowned Hockey out of Pepela (by Papirus x Welt x Paryz).

The bay stallion was licensed for the German Trakehner society in 2000. Up till then he was owned by Alexander Moksel. In 2000 he sold to Patricia Bottani and since 2005 he moved into the ownership of Kees van der Ree's Hippo Assekuranz Agentur.

From 2005 till 2007 he stood up for stud at Stallion Station Geling and since 2008 he was based at Hof Timmrade. Since 2011 he moved to his final yard, Kurt Jürgen Carl's Gut Ludwigsburg

Perechlest proved his worth in the competition ring and competed up to Grand Prix level under Ulla Salzgeber. He received his licensed status based on his performances. After Salzgeber, the stallion was competed in Switzerland by Christine Ebert and Hansruedi Geissmann.

Perechelest has no licensed sons in Europe, but the American Trakehner Society approved Feiner Prinz (by Perechlest x Cornus) in 2013 in the U.S.A. He produced 10 State Premium Mares.
