Switzerland's number one Grand Prix rider Marcela Krinke-Susmelj has a new FEI prospect to ride. Her long-time sponsor Irine Meyer has acquired the 8-year old Danish warmblood gelding Sonny Star.

This is Krinke's fourth Danish warmblood gelding in a row after Molberg (by Michellino x Rambo), Lazander (by Solos Landtinus x Cat Balou) and Sopran (by Soprano x Akinos).

New comer Sonny Star is by Sunny Boy x Midt West Ibi Light and is bred at brood farm Mogelmosegard in Denmark. He started his competition career in Denmark in 2013 under Sabrina Hesselhede and has competed up to Prix St Georges level.

"The charming dark bay is already has all the Grand Prix movements confirmed and he'll hopefully have a promising show career alongside Smeyers Sopran," said Marcela Krinke-Susmelj.

The 10-year old black Danish gelding Smeyers Sopran has been competed up to Prix St Georges level. The black gelding, known in Denmark as Sopran Morsoe, already had an extensive show career in his native country under a large string of riders, including Rikke Dupont, Jim Rasmussen, Marie Louise Andersen, Pernille Ørum, Louise Panum, Mads Jakobsen, and Sidsel Johansen.
