French Grand Prix team rider Ludovic Henry has acquired his number one Grand Prix horse After You from sponsor Christophe Binnendijk and by doing so secured the ride on the talented horse for the future.

After You is a 12-year old Bavarian warmblood bred by Ferdinand Helbach and sired by Abanos out of Cassandra (by Ragazzo x Calvados I x Greenhorn).

The Belgian based French Grand Prix rider Ludovic Henry made his show debut on After You in France in 2011 at small tour level and moved up to Grand Prix level in 2012. That year the pair got team listed in the up and coming "hopeful" group.

The combination started making major progress when they began training with French team trainer Jan Bemelmans. They were fourth at the 2013 French Dressage Championships and in 2014 they were A-team listed. They represented France at the 2014 CDIO Vidauban and CDIO Rotterdam and were selected as the non-travelling reserve for the 2014 World Equestrian Games.

After the WEG in Caen, France, Binnendijk decided to sell the horse.

"We decided to buy him as Ludo believes he still has a nice career with the horse ahead of him," Henry's wife Georgia Tonnicchi-Henry told Eurodressage. "We are so happy to have him!"
