HOPA - Horses from Paradise, Available on Earth - will be auctioning the 9-year old Grand Prix horse Borsato (by Belissimo M x Weinzauber x Florestan I) in its online auction of which the bidding closes on 18 January 2015. Borsato is a well bred, talented young Grand Prix horse for the demanding dressage rider.
Professionally trained by Belgian Tom Franckx, Borsato has an international calibre Grand Prix horse with the high quality sought after by professionals, yet he is uncomplicated enough to ride by an ambitious adult or junior/young rider.
Borsato is sired by the exceptional Belissimo, finalist at the World Young Horse Championships and internationally competed at Grand Prix level by Hayley Beresford. One of the world's best dressage horses at the moment, Isabell Werth's Bella Rose is also sired by Belissimo M.
Borsato has a proven show record with scores averaging 70% at fourth level and small tour level. The horse is now schooling Grand Prix and ready to make a transition to the big tour.
Borsato passed the HOPA vet protocol. Equine clinic 'De Bosdreef" examines each HOPA auction horse extremely thoroughly. Only horses that pass a strict vet check at De Bosdreef are selected for the HOPA auction.
