Dutch junior rider Laura Quint will be competing the KWPN licensed stallion Zizi Top in the future. Quint has received the ride on the 10-year old stallion, who is owned by the trio Joop van Uytert, F. van de Valk and J. van Anholt.

Trained by Dominique Filion, the 16-year old Quint has been campaigning the grey KWPN stallion Velazquez (by Krack C x Alasca) and will now be adding the bay Zizi Top (by Tango x Ferro) to her string.

As a youngster Zizi Top was trained and competed by Hans Peter Minderhoud who presented the stallion in the KWPN Stallion Competition and rode him for Holland at the World Young Horse Championships, where they finished fifth. Minderhoud trained him up to Prix St Georges level and competed him sparsely at a few national shows. The duo did their last show together two years ago in September 2012.

Quint and ZiZi Top already made their show debut last weekend at a regional qualifier, winning with 70.59%.

"He's a real stallion and after not having been out to compete for more than a year he thought it quite exciting," Quint explained. "Despite that there is still room for improvement, he proved to me that my confidence in him for the future is true."
