The jumping bred Kanna ZSH became the top selling foal in the quite lacklustre 2014 Swiss Warmblood foal auction held in Sursee, Switzerland, on 27 September 2014.
The jumper filly Kanna ZSH (by Kannan x Diarado) was the price highlight of the auction, selling for 16,000 CHF (13,254 euro).
Only five foals sold for more than 10,000 CHF. The jumper colt Kansas ZSH (by Kannan x Calato x Fernando) sold for 9,941 euro.
The best selling dressage foal was the 2014 Swiss Warmblood Colt Champion of the Year Gambler SPM (by Furstenball x Del Cuore). The black colt switched owners for 9,112 euro. The same price was paid for the bay colt Fun Time KWG (by Franklin x Dressage Royal).
The jumper filly Lenya H (by Lenett x Contender) achieved a knockdown price of 8,284 euro.
A total of 44 foals were presented at auction and only 33 sold. The average price was 5,741 euro.
