Jazz and Apache became the top producing sires of the mares selected for the 2014 KWPN Elite Mare Show in Ermelo, The Netherlands, on 15 August 2014.
Last week the final Central Inspection of this season took place. In total 49 three-year-old jumping mares and 41 three-year-old dressage mares have been selected for the 2014 KWPN Mare Championship.
KWPN's number one dressage sire Jazz became the top provider alongside with Apache. Both have six mares at the Nationals.
Out of the twelve Central Inspections that were organized this year, four champions were by Jazz. Apache sired one champion in the Overijssel region. Bordeaux, sire of the Zuid-Holland regional mare champion, will have five mares in Ermelo.
The 2014 Dutch National Mare Championship takes place on the Breeding Day of the 2014 KWPN Horse Days.
