2014 World Equestrian Games
The Belgian Equestrian Federation has announced the riders who have been long listed for team selection for the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Caen, France, on 25 - 29 August 2014. The Belgian riders have to compete in one more WEG selection trial, the Belgian Championships in Hulsterlo on 29 July - 3 August 2014.
After the Belgian Championships Technical Advisor Sjef Janssen and chef d'equipe Jeroen van Lent will make their recommendation for the team to the Dressage Committee of the Belgian Equestrian Federation.
The long listed Belgian riders are:
- Julie De Deken - Lucky Dance
- Jeroen Devroe -Eres DL
- Claudia Fassaert - Donnerfee
- Philippe Jorissen - Le Beau
- Françoise Hologne Joux - Wodan
- Delphine Meiresonne - Wipsy van het Heihof
- Simon Missiaen - Vradin
- Laurence Vanommeslaghe - Avec Plaisir
