The 5-year old Briatore and the 6-year old Con Primero were the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes at the regional show in Bremen, Germany, on 20 - 22 June 2014. Twenty-five 5 year olds and ten 6-year olds contested the L and M-level dressage horse test to earn a ticket to Warendorf.
The 5-year old division was won by former German young rider team member Christin Schutte on the Hanoverian stallion Briatore (by Benetton Dream x Furst Heinrich). The pair scored a winning total of 8.1 with 8 for walk and trot, 8.5 for canter and 8 for submission and general impression. Birgit Wellhausen-Henschke and Katlin Hull's Oldenburg mare Sunday Morning (by Sir Donnerhall x Donatelli) were the runners-up with 8.0. They got 8.5 for trot, 8 for walk, 7.5 for canter and 8 for submission and general impression.
In the 6-year old division Andrea Engeler and the Hanoverian stallion Con Primero (by Conteur x Don Primero) topped the leader board with a 7.6 total. They got 7.5 for trot, 8 for walk and canter, 7 for submission and 7.5 for general impression. Spanish Borja Carrascosa Martinez and Hof Kasselmann's Hanoverian gelding London Cup (by Londontime x Archipel) were second with 7.50. This horse scored 7.5 for trot, 7 for walk, 8 for canter and 7.5 for submission and general impression. The pair tied in second place with Anna Sophie Fiebelkorn on Max Matti's Hanoverian gelding Don Henry (by Don Henrico). This duo received a 7 for trot, 8 for walk and canter, 7 for submission and 7.5 for general impression.
