2014 European Pony Championships
The Spanish Equestrian Federation has selected a team of four riders that will represent Spain at the 2014 European Pony Championships held in Millstreet, Ireland, at the end of July 2014. The team is selected based on the recommendations of Spain's technical dressage director
Luis Lucio and Spanish youth team trainer Nicky Barrett.
Spanish pony riders had to show themselves a final time at the observation event which took place last weekend at the 2014 Spanish Grand Prix Championships in Can Alzina. Results during the 2014 show season were taken into account for team selection.
The Spanish pony team includes:
- Sofía Argelich - Desparo
- Patricia Bou - Piccolo
- Carla de la Fuente - Kronprinz
- Diego Martiner - Picachu
