Ronjador Price Highlight of the 2014 Westfalian Summer Auction

The 5-year old Westfalian mare Ronjador (by Rock Forever x Fidermark) became the top selling horse at the 2014 Westfalian Summer Auction in Munster-Handorf, Germany, on 1 June 2014.

The bay mare sold for 44,000 euro to Munich.

The second most expensive horse was the 4-year old El Dorado (by Ehrenstolz x Davifnon), which sold to a local yard for 41,000 euro.

The third best selling horse was the 5-year old bay mare Rivery Royal (by Rock Forever x Rohdiamant), which achieved a knock down price of 36.000 euro.

A total of 29 horses were sold at this auction, seven of them move to Great Britain and one to Russia and the United States. The average price for a sport horse at this auction was 14,945 euro. This was the best average achieved at a summer auction since 2005. Only four horses were not sold.
