The 5-year old Stanford and the 6-year old Dubarry won the Bundeschampionate Qualification classes held at the regional show in Wiesbaden/Erbesheim on 10 - 11 May 2014. Riders need to achieve a mark of 8.0 or higher to qualify their mounts
for the 2014 Bundeschampionate Finals in Warendorf in September.
Experienced German B-team Grand Prix rider Dorothee Schneider saddled the Rhinelander stallion Stanford (by Sir Donnerhall I x Diamond Hit) to snatch away the trophy with a winning score of 8.4. Schneider also took second place aboard the Hanoverian stallion Delgardo (by Dancier x Hohenstein) on a score of 7.7.
Schneider's student Stella Charlott Roth won the M-level test for 6-year olds aboard her own Hanoverian mare Dubarry B (by Don Frederico x Londonderry). The former German Under 25 champion scored 8.2 with her youngster to top the leader board. Ukrainian Nataliya Cherevishnya and the Bavarian stallion Furst Gutenberg (by Florestano x Laudatio) were second with 8.0. She tied with Claudia Rassmann on the Hanoverian stallion Salazar (by San Remo x Wittinger).
