2014 Oldenburg Summer Meeting: An Exciting Vacation with Oldenburg Horses

Until 12 May 2014 you still have the chance to sign up for the exciting 2014 Oldenburg Summer Meeting. For four whole days you can experience the highlights of Oldenburg horse breeding first hand. Get to know the most famous stallions personally and get valuable tips from experienced professionals. In addition, you will also learn how to assess horses and foals. The Oldenburg Summer Meeting offers a tour that will be full of fun and magnificent horses for international breeders and friends of the Oldenburg horse.

There will be a total of 15 stops on the program through Oldenburg breeding highlights. The group will go on exclusive guided tours of the most famous stallion stations and visit successful breeders and see their traditionally maintained mare lines. Furthermore, lectures will be held to teach participants how to assess horses and foals and there will be practical exercises to refine your newly gained knowledge. An experienced member of the Oldenburg evaluation committee will accompany the group to a foal show and practice assessment of the foals with the group.

At the end of the interesting and varied tour the group will attend the Summer Mixed Sales Auction. A back stage tour before the auction will give you an idea of what goes on during the auction and you can see how the young horses are schooled and trained.

The Summer Meeting will take place in Vechta from 28 - 31 May 2014. We cordially invite all breeders, riders and interested horse enthusiasts to this event. The Oldenburg team will be glad to organize an airport transfer for you and they will also take care of you while you are visiting the Oldenburg-Münsterland area. There will be many opportunities for you to discuss your own personal breeding program with and get advice from experts.

The cost of the Oldenburg Summer Meeting will be 800 euro, including five overnights in hotels, breakfast, lunch as well as all transfers and tickets. English will be the language spoken at the Summer Meeting.
