The 2014 Bundeschampionate qualification season kicked off this week with the first qualifier held at Wipperfurth and the second six days later at the Anakenenhof equestrian centre in Hamburg, Germany, on Wednesday 7 May 2014. The 5-year olds Fiderdance, For Romance and Soiree d'Amour, and the 6-year old Black Ruby were the winners of the L and M-level classes at Anakenenhof.
The 5-year old division was split into two groups. Group one has 21 competitors, group two only 5. Kira Wulferding and the Oldenburg licensing champion For Romance (by Furst Romancier x Sandro Hit) scored a winning 8.4 and placed well ahead of second ranked pair, Lukas Fischer on the Oldenburg mare Raffinesse (by Lauderdale x Rohdiamant), which finished on 8.1. Two combinations tied in third place with a score of 8.0.: Tessa Frank on the Hanoverian stallion Nymphenburgs For You (by For Compliment x Rohdiamant) and Esther Maruhn on the Hanoverian gelding Lionel Messi (by Londontome x Wolkenstein II).
In group 2 Frederic Wandres and the Oldenburg stallion Fiderdance (by Fidertanz x Don Schufro) topped the leader board with an overall score of 8.2, earning 8 for trot, 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for canter, submission and general impression. Kira Wulferding and the Oldenburg mare Soiree d'Amour (by San Amour x Latimer) tied in first place on 8.2 with 9.5 for trot, 8 for walk and canter, 7 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Mayke Liebregts and the Hanoverian mare Sympathie (by San Amour x Ehrenwort) were third on a score of 8.0. They earned 9 for trot, 7.5 for walk and canter and 8 for submission and general impression.
In the 6-year old M-level test, Frederic Wandres led the pack once more aboard the Oldenburg stallion Blacky Ruby (by Belissimo M x Donnerhall), with an 8.5 score. The duo earned 8.5 for trot, 9 for walk and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Christoph Koschel and the Hanoverian stallion Baggio (by Belissimo M x Weltmeyer) were the runners-up with 8.4. They got 8.5 for walk, trot, canter, and general impression and 8 for submission. Hermann Burger and the Hanoverian gelding Hotshot (by Hotline x Donnerhall) completed the top three on 8.3. They got 8.5 for trot, 9 for walk, 7.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression
