German B-team rider Jessica von Bredow-Werndl has been promoted to the German A-team, which now makes her eligible for team nomination for the upcoming World Equestrian Games in Caen, France.

The 28-year old Von Bredow has been making a stellar surge to the top of the high performance dressage world in the past month. Aboard Beatrice Burchler-Keller's 14-year old Dutch warmblood stallion Unee BB (by Gribaldi x Dageraad) she rode high scores at the World Cup qualifiers in Amsterdam, Neumunster and Gothenburg.

Based on these performances, the Dressage Committee of the German Olympic Equestrian Committee (DOKR) promoted Von Bredow to the A-team.

The Aubenhausen based Von Bredow is currently ranking third on the Western European League World Cup ranking. She trains with German co-team trainer Jonny Hilberath.

Unee first came into the spotlight under Swiss rider Jasmine Sanche-Burger. Then the horse moved in training with Birgit Wientzek-Plage before relocating to Werndl in South Germany in 2012.
