Anabel Balkenhol's second Grand Prix horse Diamonds Forever has been put in training with Fabienne Lutkemeier. The 12-year old dark bay gelding is owned by the Gericke family.

As Anabel Balkenhol is moving to the Marbach State Stud as of 1 February 2014, the Gericke family decided to bring the horse back home. They briefly relocated it at Stall Bockmann right before Christmas, but now the Hanoverian (by Depardieu x Warkant) has found a new rider in Fabienne Lutkemeier in Paderborn, Germany.

Anabel Balkenhol started riding "Monti" at the end of 2011 and they were members of the German B-team. She recently competed him at the CDI-W Stuttgart, won the national show in Hanover and showed him in the spring and summer in Lingen, Verden, Donaueschingen and Hamburg.

"It's a great new gift for me. I've never ridden a horse for another owner before," Lutkemeier commented. "I tried out Diamonds Forever and thought we really fit well together. He can do nice piaffe and passage, loves to work and is super sweet in the stable. We immediately clicked and that's also because of Anabel's way of riding. It makes it much easier for every new rider."
