Rocktool, Top Seller at 2014 Westfalian Winter Auction

Rocktool became the top selling horse at the first auction of the year at the Westfalian equestrian centre in Munster-Handorf on 19 January 2014. The 5-year old Rockwell x Festivo offspring sold for 63,000 euro and achieved the top knock down price at the 2014 Handorf Extra auction.

The second most expensive horse at this auction was the 5-year old bright bay gelding A-Klasse (by Ampere x Lord Loxley x Champus). He sold for 50,000 euro.

Ulla Salzgeber acquired the third best selling horse of the auction, the 5-year old chestnut gelding Quintessenz (by Quaterback x Ehrentusch x Damenstolz). The German A-team rider paid 40,000 euro for the young athlete.

The 5-year old bay mare Baccara (by Basic x Florestan x Pit I) sold for 37,000 euro, while the 4-year old dark bay gelding Eastcoast (by Ehrenpreis x Sherlock Holmes x Warkant) switched owners for 28,000 euro.

The most expensive young stallion prospect was the 3-year old stallion Rocky Balboa (by Rocky Lee x Arpeggio x Ramiro), for which the hammer struck at 16,000 euro.
