Twenty-four Dressage Colts Selected on First Day of 2014 Danish Stallion Pre-Selection

Twenty-four dressage bred colts have been selected to appear at the 2014 Danish warmblood stallion licensing next March after the first day of the Danish pre-selection, which took place in Vilhelmsborg, Denmark, on Saturday 4 January 2014.

In the morning the show jumping colts were presented, after which the dressage colts followed. The Danish stallion licensing committee picked 24 colts in Vilhelmsborg that can move on to the actual licensing. The sire Zack (by Rousseau x Jazz) is best represented with four offspring selected. De Noir (by De Niro) is featured once as sire and three times as dam sire in the group of selected colts.

Two more pre-selection days are scheduled to take place: one in Vallensbaek on Sunday 5 January and on at Askim Hestesports on Monday 6 January.
