Danish Warmblood Breeding News

Denmark's biggest stallion station Blue Hors Stud in Randboel has literally made several cuts in its stallion roster to freshening it up commercially for 2014.

In a logical business move, Blue Hors stallions which are not popular enough as a breeding sire have been gelded and are offered for sale as a dressage horse.

Four previously licensed Blue Hors breeding stallions have been castrated and are offered for sale. The 4-year old Hanoverian bred Fletcher (by Furst Grandios x Weltmeyer) has been cut and is included in the auction collection and will be sold at the 2013 Alsfelder Advent auction, taking place in Germany on 30 November 2013.

Other castrated stallions are the 8-year old Danish warmblood Rosoff (by Romanov x Prince Mab x Miami Springs), the 6-year old Dutch warmblood Touch Me (by Tuschinski x Kennedy x Derrick) and the 5-year old Oldenburg bred Quiet Please (by Quaterback x Donnerhall).
