The 2013 November Auction at the Hanoverian equestrian centre in Verden, Germany, was a successful continuation of the strong sales that started during the 2013  Verden Autumn Auction. The November collection featured 79 horses for sale. Price highlight was the fourth horse in the auction ring, Finchley Follyfoot, which sold for 46,000 euro to Spain.

The eagerly moving 4-year-old Finchley Follyfoot  (by Fidertanz x De Niro - breeder and exhibitor: Harm Röpke, Emtinghausen) was very popular with potential customers from Austria and Spain, with both parties fighting out a thrilling bidding duel. The Spanish customers finally purchased the impressive dressage prospect for 46,000 euro.

Customers from Great Britain paid almost as much for catalogue no. one: Scaleo Mio (by Scolari x Limonit  - breeder and exhibitor: Rixta Stolter, Odisheim) which sold for 44,000 euro. She is a close relative of the current World Champion of Young Dressage Horses, Scara Boa.

Most expensive youngster of the show jumping collection was Chelsea (by Chasseur x Prestige Pilot - breeder and exhibitor: Volker Ahrens, Vollersode). The big-framed jumper sold for 22,000 euro and will start her career in Hessia.

Astinov (by Asti's Amsterdam x Latouro - breeder and exhibitor: Wilhelm Struck, Gusborn) switched owners for 20,500 euro and will move to France.

Forty-three riding horses will stay in Germany, 36 found their new home in 12 different countries. The US and Italy lead the list of buyers with each six purchases. There was a significant increase in the average auction sales price, compared with previous years. An average price of  14,329 euro was paid for the horses at this auction.

Auction Manager Jörg-Wilhelm Wegener was satisfied: "I am happy that we have been able to extend the uptrend from the October Auction. Foreign customers considerably contributed to this success as they rewarded the brilliant quality of the horses with corresponding prices."

The last opportunity to purchase a riding horse at a Hanoverian auction in 2013 will be the auction on 29 - 30 November 2013 at the Horse Centre in Alsfeld/Hessen.
