Sonnenschein is a wonderful 3-year old chestnut Oldenburg stallion who made an impression from his first public appearance at the 2012 Oldenburg stallion Licensing in Vechta. At the Licensing this athletic dressage stallion stood out with his outstanding basic gaits and excellent balance and power on the lunge line. He executed a very good stallion performance test.
Sonnenschein is not only a great addition to your stable as a young horse prospect, but he also offers plenty of options as a breeding stallion.
Sired by the World Young horse championship bronze medalist Sir Donnerhall II, Sonnenschein is also very much influenced by his dam sire Bolero. Bolero is a known FEI horse producer with Heike Kemmer's international Grand Prix horse Borsalino as one of his most famous dressage offspring.
Sonnenschein is impressive in all three basic gaits. He is very uncomplicated to ride, easy to handle and very balanced and loveable in his character.
