Millstreet Wins Bid for 2014 European Pony Championships

Millstreet, Ireland, has won the bid to host the 2014 European Pony Champions. The venue annually hosts Ireland’s largest equestrian event as well as a CSI*** and have clear experience in hosting international competitions.

For the 2014 European Pony Championships, three locations were in the running: Dzonkow (Poland), Millstreet (Ireland) and Wiener Neustadt (Austria).

At the 2013 FEI General Assembly on 4 November 2013, the FEI Bureau allocated the 2014 Euro Ponies to Millstreet. The event will be held on 16 - 20 July 2014.

The Millstreet show grounds are equipped with modern facilities including 8 All-Weather arenas 8 All-Weather warm-Up rings, 3 indoor arenas, and 1500 stables on the show grounds.

Millstreet is a 3-hour drive from Dublin International Airport and 1-hour drive from Cork airport.
