Following several pre-selection days the licensing committee of the Oldenburg Verband has invited 43 dressage colts from a lot of 187 presented stallions to participate in the 2013 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta, Germany, on 20 - 23 November 2013.
The Westfalian licensing champion Fidertanz and the Oldenburg Licensing Champion Furstenball, who sired last year's Oldenburg licensing champion Follow Me, are the best represented sires in the 2013 Oldenburg licensing lot as each has no less than four offspring selected to participate.
The Oldenburg reserve licensing champion Dante Weltino (by Danone I x Welt Hit II) will be presenting his first offspring at the licensing with three invited sons.
There is also quite some influx of Dutch blood amongst the licensing candidates this year. From the first crop of foals by Totilas, only one got selected for the Oldenburg approval: a KWPN branded (!) Totilas x Krack C x Ferro owned by Bernadette Brune.
