Ike Geuzenhof, Top Seller at 2013 Limburg KWPN Foal Auction

The colt Ike Geuzenhof became the price highlight of the 2013 Limburg KWPN Foal Auction held at equestrian centre De Ijzeren Man in Weert, The Netherlands, on Wednesday 25 September 2013.

The dark bay Ike Geuzenhof is bred by S. Maakenschijn and is by Negro x Rubin Royal. He achieved the top knock down price of 24,000 euro.

The second most expensive foal was Ivanovic, a bay colt by Everdale x Vivaldi, which descends from the same dam line as the licensed stallion Tuschinski. He sold for 22,000 euro.

The top priced filly was Isah (by Chippendale x Krack C). She sold for 19,000 euro. Two foals switched owners for 11,000 euro: the filly Irene Norene (by Desperado x Zichem) and the colt Ismael (by Numero Uno x Ultimo).

Fifty foals in total were sold at this auction and sold for an average price of 7,798 euro.
