Michal Rapcewicz' number one Grand Prix horse Randon has been sold to Italy. The Italian young rider champion Leonardo Tiozzo has acquired the 16-year old Polish warmblood to make the transition to Grand Prix.

Rapcewicz and Randon (by Czuwaj x Fanimo x Genius) were Poland's most successful dressage duo in recent years. They competed at the 2008 Hong Kong and 2012 London Olympic Games, the 2010 World Equestrian Games, where they finished 15th in the Kur to Music finals. They won a World Dressage Masters' leg in Palm Beach in 2011 and placed 12th at the 2010 World Cup Finals in 's Hertogenbosch.

Tiozzo is the current Italian young rider's champion and wants to make the transition to the senior league. He trains at the yard of Gabriel Garko. The pair made its show debut at a national competition at Centro Ippico Colle d'Oro in Colleferro near Rome this weekend.  The duo scored  65.60%.

"There were still a few little mistakes today," Tiozzo told Tutto Dressage, "but I think it's more than understandable. We are only together for twenty days and we are still learning to know each other. Randon was very good and I'm really excited about him."
