The USEF High Performance Dressage Committee is planning a series of High Performance Dressage Observation and Strategic Planning Sessions in preparation for the 2014 World Equestrian Games. A total of six two day sessions will be held on the East and West Coasts; two in November 2013 and a further four between January and April 2014.

At these sessions, Robert Dover, U.S. Dressage Technical Advisor/Chef d'Equipe, will work with athletes and their personal trainer/coach to provide training and strategic guidance for athletes to aid in achieving their international potential and success.

Each day would include riding sessions and one of the two days may include test riding for competition to work on achieving more points. One day would include a strategic session with the athlete, trainer/coach, horse owner and Dover.

"I am very excited about the upcoming training sessions on both coasts," said Dover. "I am hopeful that I will be able to work alongside athletes and their personal trainers to produce the world-class results America is counting on as we head toward the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy."

The sessions are by invitation only, based on criteria set forth by the USEF High Performance Dressage Committee and concentrating on athlete/horse combinations with international competition experience and the prospect of contributing to a Team or Individual medal at the 2014 WEG.
