Lydia Camp on her 5-year old Maddoc and Laura Stigle on her 6-year old Doubleyou W won the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the Rhinelander regional championships in Langenfeld, Germany on 11 July 2013. Twenty-four pairs in total competed in the L- and M-level classes in Langefeld.
Former German European Pony team rider Lydia Camp won the 5-year old division on the Trakehner branded Maddoc (by Kasimir x Lucito). They averaged a total of 8.0 after receiving 7.5 for trot, 8 for walk, 8.5 for canter, and 8 for submission and general impression. Jana Freund and the Rhinelander bred mare Cassiopaya (by Cassini Bou x Lanciano) were second with 7.8. They got 8 for trot and canter, 7.5 for walk and submission and 8.0 for general impression.
In the 6-year old division Laura Stigler confirmed form on the Hanoverian gelding Doubleyou W (by Don Romantic x Rohdiamant) and won the class with a strong final score of 8.6. The pair for 8.5 for trot and walk, 9 for canter, 8 for submission and 9 for general impression. Lydia Camp was the runner-up on the Rhinelander mare Serenissima RH (by Sir Donnerhall x Fidermark) with 8.0. The pair got 8.5 for trot, 7 for walk, 8 for canter, 8.5 for submission and 8.0 for general impression. The combination tied with Karolina Metzer on the Rhinelander gelding Leolux (by Lord Loxley x Limited Edition). They got 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for walk and canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression from the panel of judges.
