Dutch Horses Selected for 2013 World Young Horse Championships

2013 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses

The KWPN society and Dutch Equestrian Federation have made their final pick of horses at the last Dutch selection trial for Verden on Monday 15 July 2013. The Netherlands is allowed to send six horses per age division and have requested one wild card so they can send a seventh 5-year old to the Championships. 

The potential wild card horse is the Dutch bred Westfalian licensed Don Juan de Hus, owned by the French Xavier Marie and ridden by Jessica Michel.

The selected Dutch horses are:

5-year olds
Dancer (Vivaldi x Tango) - Kirsten Brouwer
Dark Pleasure (Ufo x Jazz) - Gerdine Maree
Desperado (Vivaldi x Havidoff) - Emmelie Scholtens
Don Tango B (Contango x Jazz) - Diederik van Silfhout
Dorado (Krack C x Rousseau) - Emmelie Scholtens
Dream Boy (Vivaldi x Ferro) - Gerdine Maree
Don Juan de Hus (Jazz x Krack C) - Jessica Michel

6-year olds:
Cachet L (Jazz x Ferro) - Mirelle van Kemenade-Witlox
Capri Sonne jr (Rhodium x San Remo) – Dinja van Liere
Charmeur (Florencio x Jazz) - Emmelie Scholtens
Charon (Rubiquil x Havidoff) - Thamar Zweistra (foto)

Coco Chanel (Sandreo x San Remo) - Patrick van der Meer

The 6-year old reserve horse is Che de Jeu (by Voice x Jazz) - Marieke van der Putten
