The Danish Equestrian Federation has announced the team of riders that will represent Denmark on home turf at the 2013 European Dressage Championships in Herning, Denmark, on 20 - 25 August 2013. The team was picked in agreement with Danish team trainer Rudolf Zeilinger.
The selected riders are:
- Anna Kasprzak - Donnperignon
- Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein - Digby
- Andreas Helgstrand - Akeem Foldager
- Lone Bang Larsen - Fitou L
"This is a really strong team, we are fielding at the European Championships," said Zeilinger. "All combinations have produced very nice results at international shows and the Danish Championships, and I think we can go for medals. Our team has really good riders, who are eager to go for a team medal. In dressage anything can happen and on the right day it's not unthinkable that one of our riders will also take home an individual medal."
The team reserves will be Lisbet Seierskilde on Jonstrupgaardens Raneur, Thomas Sigtenbjerggaard on Nintendo and Lars Petersen on Mariett.
