The 5-year old Elfentanz and the 6-year old High Lane won the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held during the packed 2013 Westfalian Regional Championships hosted at Riding Centre Steinhagen in Steinhagen, Germany, on 7 - 9 July 2013.
The 5-year old division was won by Vera Nass aboard the black Oldenburg mare Elfentanz (by Fidertanz x De Niro). She scored a total of 8.3 and got 9 for trot, 8 for walk, 7.5 for canter and 8.5 for submission and general impression. Jill Marielle Becks took over the ride from Helen Langehanenberg on her dad's Westfalian mare Damon's Satelite (by Damon Hil x Rubin Royal) to a second place. The dup scored 8.2 in total and got 8.5 for trot and canter, 9 for walk, 7 for submission and 8 for general impression. The combination tied with Eva Möller on the Hanoverian gelding Follow Rivers (by Fidertanz x De Niro). They earned 8 for trot and canter, 8.5 for walk, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
In the 6-year old division the riders of Hof Kasselmann covered the top places in the ranking. Spanish Borja Carrascosa surfaced all the way at the top of the leader board with the Hanoverian gelding High Lane (by Hotline x Brentano II). She scored a total of 8.1 and got 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Eva Möller was second on the dark bay Oldenburg Double D (by Dimaggio x Diamond Hit). She earned a total of 8.0 and got 8.5 for trot and canter, 8 for walk, 7 for submission and 8 for general impression. Andrea Timpe tied with Möller for second place. She received 7.5 for trot, 9 for walk, 8 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression for her ride on the Westfalian gelding For the Memory (by Florencio x Spitzweg).
