Quasi Royale, Top Seller at 2013 Vechta Summer Mixed Sales

The 5-year old dark bay Oldenburg mare Quasi Royale became the top selling horse at the 2013 Vechta Summer Mixed Sales on Saturday 1 June 2013. American clients from Boston paid 52,000 euro for the Quaterback x Royal Diamond x Worldman offspring.

The second most expensive horse at the auction was Bernadette Brune's filly Thrill Me (by Totilas x De Niro). In the auction catalog the black filly was named Cala d'Or and she sold for 41,000 euro to Marta Kauffmann from the U.S.A. The second most expensive foal was Grasmücke (by Furst Romancier x Amidou x Rohdiamant), which sold for 16,500 euro. The liver chestnut filly Cremona (by Franziskus x Diamond Hit x Alabaster) wechelte für sold for 14,000 € to the USA.

The show jumpers in the collection sold quite well at this auction. Venezuelan customers acquired Stackfleth (by Stakkatol x Landsiger) for 30,000 euro. Chilean clients bought Conlady (by Con Air x Charity) for 25,000 euro.

Ten of the 24 auctioned sport horses sold abroad. The average price was 16,188 euro. Eights foals sold abroad and their average price was 8,982 euro.
