The Danish equestrian federation and Danish team trainer Rudolf Zeilinger have announced their selection of riders will represent Denmark on the team competing at the Nations' Cup competitions in Rotterdam (19 - 23 June 2013) and Aachen (25 - 30 June 2013).
Rotterdam and Aachen are the second and third legs in the pilot season of the FEI Nations' Cup which started third year with the inagural CDIO in Vidauban, France, mid May.
For the 2013 CDIO Rotterdam, Denmark is fielding:
- Lisbet Seierskilde - Jonstrupgaardens Raneur
- Lars Pedersen - Mariett
- Maria Anita Andersen - Loxana
- Michaela Munter Gundersen - My Lady
At the 2013 CDIO Aachen, Danmark will be represented by:
- Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein - Digby
- Andreas Helgstrand - Akeem Foldager
- Anna Kasprzak - Donnperignon
- Lone Bang Larsen - Fitou L
The Danish team for Aachen will most likely be the one that will defend the national honour at the 2013 European Championships on home turf in Herning, Denmark. Remarkable absentees from the team are Sidsel Johansen and Anne van Olst, whose top horse Taikoen is still recovering from a splint bone operation.
