Danish pony team trainer Jette Nevermann Torup has updated the Danish pony A-team based on the performances of the riders at international shows as well as at the national ecco cup circuit shows.
The newly submitted A-team riders are invited to participated in the team training session at the Middelfart equestrian centre on 5 June 2013 together with the Danish Junior and Young Riders A-team.
The team training is a preparation for the upcoming Championships and will include a vet check and discussion with Danish team vet Jonas Rasmussen. Afterwards the riders will do test-riding with an international judge followed by mental training with sport psychologist Louise Sonne Schellerup/
The current Danish pony A-team includes:
- Victoria Vallentin
- Maria Fauerholm Christensen
- Kristine Koch Bejtrup
- Nikoline Ravn Jensen
- Anne-Sofie Kystol Knudsen
- Sandra Aagaard Hyrm
Five pony riders on category 2 ponies (small ponies than D-size) are also included in the A-team. They are:
