Den Haag and Lord Carnaby Win 2012 Neuss-Grefrath Bundeschampionate Qualifier

2013 Bundeschampionate Qualifier

At the small 2013 Bundeschampionate qualifier held in Neuss-Grefrath near Dusseldorf on Saturday 11 May 2013, Beatrice Buchwald wielded the axe of power winning both the 5 and 6 year old division with two stallions owned by Austrian Dr. Manfred Hödl. Buckwald was the only rider scoring high enough to qualify for Warendorf. 

In the 5-year old division Buchwald saddled the Westfalian stallion Den Haag (by Diamond Hit x Florestan) and scored 8.4 to win the class. The duo received an 8 for trot, 9 for walk, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Verena Oberscheidt and the Westfalian gelding Back in Black O (by Painted Black x Davignon) were the runners-up with 7.6. They got 8 for trot, 7 for walk, 7.5 for canter and submission and 8 for general impression.

An assistent trainer at Isabell Werth's barn in Rheinberg, Buchwald steered the chestnut Rhinelander stallion Lord Carnaby (by Lord Loxley x Rocket Star) to victory with 8.0. The dup got 8 for trot, 8.5 for walk and canter, 7 for submission and 8 for general impression. Stefanie Wittmann and the Hanoverian gelding Rubin (by Royal Blend x Wolkenstein II) slotted in second with 7.8. They earned 7.5 for trot, 8.5 for walk, 7.5 for canter and submission and 8.0 for general impression.
