The Equine Canada Officials Committee announced the names of the four recipients of the 2013 Dressage Officials Bursaries.

This new program recognizes the commitment and expense required by national dressage officials to maintain their status and continue their education. The monetary grant, of $300 each, is designed to assist dressage officials in pursuing their dressage goals.

The recipients are:

Margaret Boyce / Emerson, NJ / dressage judge,
Winona Hartvikson / Langley, BC / dressage judge,
Kirstin Skinner-Boyd / Windsor, ON / dressage judge, and
Kim Fortin / Aylesford, NS / dressage steward.

"Best wishes to these officials as they pursue their educational projects," said Joan Macartney, chair of the Dressage Canada Officials Committee.

Dressage Canada hopes to offer this program again in 2014.
