The Aachen organisation of the 2015 European Championships in dressage, show jumping, vaulting, driving and reining has confirmed the official date of the event after changing it on request of the FEI. The 2015 European Championships will take place 11 - 23 August 2015.
Originally the dates were determine for one week later but "on request of the FEI as well as national and international tv-stations we changed it to one week earlier," said show director Frank Kemperman.
Full entry passes are already for sale but the individual tickets per discipline go on sale this year at the 2013 CHIO Aachen. "From experience with the 2006 World Equestrian Games we are counting on a huge demand," said Michael Mronz. "We are surprisped that already some tickets are close to being sold out."
It is the first time that five disciplines will have their European Championships at the same venue at the same time.
