The 7-year old Dutch warmblood stallion Borencio has been sold to the Danish estate Julianelyst, which is owned by Agnete Kirk Thinggard, daughter of Lego mogul Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen.

It is rumoured that Borencio will be the ride for Kristiansen's youngest daughter, the 30-year Agnete who is married to Claus Thinggard.

The bay gelding Borencio is by Florencio x Lord Sinclair x Clavecimbel. The horse sold as a 3,5 year old to the Spanish duo Agusti Elias and his Bermudan wife Annabelle Collins and was previously owned by Nico Witte.

Under Emmelie Scholtens Borencio won the 2010 Pavo Cup Finals as a 4-year old and the 2011 Pavo Cup Finals as a 5-year old. That same year, he also competed at the World Young Horse Championships in Verden, where he finished 8th in the Finals.

In 2012 Scholtens and Borencio returned to Verden to win the silver medal in the 6-year old division. The horse has made its ZZ debut (Fourth level).
