Svea, Top Selling at 2013 Hanoverian Winter Auction

The 4-year old bay mare Svea (by Sandro Hit x Brentano II) became the top selling horse of the 2013 Hanoverian Winter Auction held in Verden, Germany, on 18-19 January 2013.

Bred by Friedrich Decke and presented by Monika Decke, Svea sold for 58,000 euro to a Westfalian dressage stable.

The second most expensive horse was the show jumper Spacehooper (by Stolzenberg x Graf Top). He sold for 56,000 euro to Romania.

Portuguese buyers acquired the 4-year old gelding Sagenhaft (by Sir Donnerhall I x Rubin Royal) for 41,000 euro.

The 4-year old gelding Lacoste (by Locksley II x Longchamp) sold to German buyers for 31,000 euro.

The 4-year old gelding Bosshoss (by Benetton Dream x Westernhagen) achieved a knock down price of 30,500 euro and moves to Switzerland.

Ninety Hanoverians were sold at this auction and they achieved an average price of 12,904 euro.
