The Rothenberger family has decided to start its own EU-approved stallion station at their home farm Gestut Erlenhof in Bad Homburg, Germany.
"As we continued to receive requests for breeding to our stallions and questions if our stallions were actually standing at stud, and because our yard fulfils the EU breeding station requirements, we decided to answer this request and offer our stallions for breeding," Rothenberger explained.
Seven stallions are actually standing live at Gestut Erlenhof. Three are show jumpers (Aperol, Corpeggio, Jonggor's Kid Gentleman) and four are dressage stallions. Rothenberger offers two pony sires, Deinhard B (by Dornik x Golden Dancer) and Domino Dancing (by Derbino x Valentino), and two young dressage sires, Homburg (by Hochadel x Londonderry) and Van Vivaldi (by Vivaldi x Olivi x Biotop).
