Damon Hill, Top Earning German Dressage Horse of 2012

The German Equestrian Federation has released the top 20 of best earning German registered dressage horses. Grand Prix stallion Damon Hill became the top earning dressage horse of the country, cashing 138,505 euro in prize money in 2012.

Helen Langehanenberg has been tremendously successful with Christian Becks' Damon Hill (by Donnerhall x Rubinstein) and was able to gather a purse of 138,505 euro in 2012 alone. The total amount this liver chestnut stallion has earned has now added up to 219,049 euro according to the FN Year Book.

Isabell Werth rode Madeleinde Winter-Schulze's Westfalian El Santo NRW (by Ehrentusch x Rhytmus) to a second place with 94,825 euro in prize money in 2012. Kristina Sprehe and her Hanoverian stallion Desperados (by De Niro x Wolkenstein II) are in third place with 86.525 euro.

Isabell Werth's Warum Nicht FRH (by Weltmeyer) has been retired from competition this year but was still able to collect 36,189 euro in 2012, which puts him in the 11th spot. His life earnings, however, are a staggering 738.205 euro !!
