Pierre St Jacques Hired as Head Trainer at Mo Swanson's Rolling Stone Farm

American Grand Prix rider Pierre St. Jacques has been hired as new head trainer at Mo and Jim Swanson’s Rolling Stone Farm in Slatington, PA. Pierre, his wife Samantha and their 15 month old son Stirling will soon be moving to Lehigh Valley in northeastern Pennsylvania.

Both Pierre and Samantha are Canadian born, but Pierre turned American in 1999. Pierre and his Grand Prix horse Lucky Tiger were members of the gold winning US team at the 2003 Pan American Games.  They also became the 2009 U.S. Grand Prix Reserve Champions. Samantha St. Jacques is a Canadian Olympic eventing team member.

Rolling Stone Farm is a large German Oldenburg and Hanoverian breeding farm that stands 6 stallions, including the homebred Shakespeare RSF (by Sandro Hit), Sir James (by Sir Donnerhall), Fhitzgerald (by Florencio), foundation stallion Gold Luck (by Grundstein), and two recently licensed homebreds: Shotgun (by Shakespeare RSF) and Dheputy (by Dauphin).

Mo is the breeder of the 2011 Grand Champion at Dressage at Devon and the breeder of the 2012 Dressage at Devon Filly Champion, Reserve Champion Young Horse and Young Prospect Champion. She also bred the 2012 National Champion FEI 6 year old dressage horse,and both division winners of the Young Hunter Under Saddle at 2012 Devon Horse Show. In addition to her stallions, Mo has a broodmare band of 45 mares, most of them with the titles of Elite Mare, Verbands Premium or Special Premium.

Pierre will be assisted by Rolling Stone Farm assistant trainer, Cara Klothe, a USDF bronze and silver medalist.
